Exams, exams, exams…
I prefer savory food food, to snacks, but decided on impulse to buy munchies for the exam period (and my exam ends in 3 days loh). I just bought packets of Korean seaweed, and a TIN of Hello Panda- 450grams!! ALL for me: Wah.hahaha. Exams are eeeevil, i say…
As you can probably tell, the exams have made me mad.
Anyhew, mum’s here and she’s supposed to help us to finish cooking the food in our shelves, so we can vacate the place in 2 weeks. But, she arrived yesterday with 8-10 plastic bags of food, 3 whole chickens, bunches of kangkong and etc…
Cheryl’s one happy and satisfied gal. My mum plied us 4 (me, cheryl, gweex and herself) with SOOOOOO much food, I think gonna explode on the exam table. Within 15 mins of entering my home, she started preparing the food and we had hae mee for lunch. Then went to the subi markets in the afternoon, and for dinner, we had store-bought gyozas, curry chicken, herbal chicken soup, and her speciality- fried laksa.
I told her she’s banned from cooking for the next few days while we finish up leftovers from last night. I woke up for church this morning and found that she has cooked fish porridge with crabsticks and portobello mushrooms slices for breakfast!!
Jia Liat lah. The winter-gorging-induced spare-tyres have not disappeared, and now this. I will return to Spore twice my original size than when i first came 4 years ago. Sigh.
